Who We Are

We Make Our Future is an alignment of Minnesotans who are ready to build a state where all of our families – no matter our race, immigrant status, gender, wealth or zip code – can thrive.

We bring together faith groups, labor unions, climate activists, immigrant rights organizations and other groups striving for economic, racial and social justice.

We Make Our Future is a project created by Faith in Minnesota, Education Minnesota, SEIU MN and the 100% Campaign. 

What is RCGN?

The Race Class Gender Narrative is an empirically-tested messaging framework that works to empower regular people with the tools to stand up to the dog-whistle racism and sexism that we know those in power use to divide us in order to maintain their power. Using this framework in our organizing work has helped shine a light on this tried-and-true tactic and been key on stopping those trying to divide us and winning progressive change that our families need and deserve.
